May 24, 2012 · With roots that run deep through the Mountain State’s education system, Paul Hill has taken over as the chancellor for West Virginia’s Higher Education Policy Commission.
The two-time Marshall graduate grew up in rural West Virginia and replaces Brian Noland who left the post to become the president at East Tennessee State University.
Hill had been the interim chancellor since January before receiving the post full time last Friday. Hill says those five months as the interim taught him a lot.
